We are supporting NEET young people (not in education, employment or training) from low-income backgrounds, to help them enter the workplace. Our aim is to help them move into work, develop vocational qualifications, and improve their life chances. The Skinners Charity Foundation does this through two main programmes of funding; our Individuals Programme and our Charities Programme.
Grants are available for young people living in England and Wales from low-income backgrounds, to help them gain vocational, accredited qualifications. We offer grants of up to £2,000 for people aged 16 to 26, to take courses (up to level 4) that will help them move into employment.
Our Charities Programme is funding programmes of work which support young people who are not in employment, education or training - to help them move into work. Grants of up to £10,000 per-annum will be available, with awards for three years open to consideration.
