The charity of Sir Thomas Smythe provides grants to individuals for domestic and health related needs, and grants to welfare organisations for a range of activities. Funding is available only in specific areas of West Kent, as defined by parishes of the Church of England (detailed below).
Grants of up to £250 are available to individuals for domestic and health related needs including; household repairs, replacing domestic appliances, hospital related travel, and other one-off expenses.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations working with; older people, disadvantaged people, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, those in recovery from substance misuse, and those living with mental health challenges.
