Finance Committee

The Finance Committee:

  • Produce an annual budget for Court’s approval, together with rolling 5 year projections
  • Monitor the Company’s financial position
  • Protect the Company’s property, investments and other assets
  • Allocate a budget to the House Committee to maintain our Hall
  • Review the audited accounts for the Company and its subsidiaries and the auditors’ reports
  • Oversee the generation of additional revenue
  • Appoint and review professional advisors, bankers, and contractors including caterers
  • Review risk and monitor the Company risk register
  • Review reports from the Investment Committee on the performance of the Company’s investments

The committee shall normally meet three times a year, at times that align with the Company’s budgeting and financial reporting cycle. The upcoming dates are:

  • Tuesday 3 November 2020
  • Thursday 29 April 2021
  • Tuesday 2 November 2021
  • Monday 21 February 2022
